Gabriel Bang Rules

Welcome to the Gabriel Big Bang! Please carefully read the rules of the bang before signing up. Feel free to reach out to the GBB mods via discord, tumblr, or our new email with any questions, but be patient with us.

By signing up for bangs means that you have read and agreed to follow the below rules. Anyone who violates these rules will receive either a yearly or permanent ban.

General Rules of Conduct 

• All participants must be 13 years of age or older. All participants will be required to check yes or no, if they are 18 or not.
  • Any participant under the age of 18 will be restricted to safe for work (SFW) fics and art and unable to join the discord server (we will have other ways to connect with you). Any participant under the age of 18 posting explicit work will have their work removed from the challenge and will be permanently banned from the event.
• Be mindful and respectful of other participants.
• Member bashing, hate speech, bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, and general assholery will earn you a one way ticket to being kicked out with extreme prejudice.
• Ship and Let Ship. No ship, character, or actor bashing.
• Your kink is not my kink, and that's okay.
• No AI

Event Rules

1. To participate in Bangs all participants must be 13 years of age or older. All participants will be required to check yes or no, if they are 18 or not. Any participant under the age of 18 will be restricted to safe for work (SFW) fics and art and unable to join the discord server (we will have other ways to connect with you). Any participant under the age of 18 posting explicit work will have their work removed from the challenge and will be permanently banned from the event.
2. All works must feature Gabriel/The Trickster as a main character. 
3. All crossovers, pairings, side pairings and side characters are allowed. Including but not limited to au settings, genderbends, crossovers/fusions, RPF/RPS blends (French Mistake au) and any other non-canon interpretations. As long as the focus is on Gabriel/The Trickster.
4. Required tags/content warnings: Rape/Noncon, Major Character Death, Graphic Depictions of Violence, Underage (based on the Archive Warnings from Ao3). Be sure to tag works appropriately. 
5. Minimum word counts for a mini bang is 2000 minimum with 1 piece of art. For a big bang it is 10,000 with 2 pieces of art. For a mega bang it is 30,000 with 3 pieces of art. Banners are optional and do not count towards the required art. There is no maximum word count (or art pieces) but keep the schedule and posting dates in mind!
6. No plagiarizing. All works must be created by the participants of the challenge. That also means no AI generated for art or writings. If GBB mods find you to be knowingly plagiarizing someone else's work you will be banned from the event.
7. Participants may sign up as both an author and an artist and make multiple claims but will be responsible to meet all deadlines. But you may not create art for your own story.
8. There will be check-ins at various points throughout the bang, all of which are  mandatory and a simple process.
9. Authors and artists are responsible for communicating to meet deadlines. If an artist or author fails to communicate before the first check in after pairing, it will result in a drop of the non-communicative party and the summoning of a pinch hitter. Please contact  the GBB mods if there are any problems with communication/ghosting issues throughout the process.
10. You may not put out teasers or talk publicly about the content of your works until after the artist claims and half way check-ins. GBB mods will be putting out promos on Tumblr at the half way mark.
11. On your posting date, you must post all of your story/art on every platform on which you release it. No serial posting.
12. Make sure when it is your date you must share all platform links to the GBB mods, there will be a form. If you are using Ao3 that you are also adding it to the Ao3 collection, once submitting a GBB mod will add it to the collection, and if posting to Tumblr using the event appropriate tumblr tags. 

If you need an extension on your selected posting date please contact the GBB mods but try not to bite off more than you can chew with your story/art.
